Got back from a 4-day visit to the Bay Area (which merits its own entry) and immediately jumped into a book project that I'm very excited about. Check it out.

Needless to say, my New Year's celebration was subdued, but that's how I wanted it, actually. Even if I hadn't been on crazy deadline, I would have wanted to close 2011 out quietly and without pomp.
