I’m still busy.

Next week my printmaking class comes to its official end (the lab will be open til the 21st so if I need to do additional silkscreening, I can) and in two weeks, my writing class comes to a close. Thank god! I will miss the classes -- I always do since I enjoy school -- but I will not miss the stress they added to my already overtaxed nervous system.

To fill in that free time, I’m taking on a children’s knitwear branding project, a typesetting job for a fashion book, as well as a book design project for a French illustrator. So as you can see, I will be using my free time judiciously. Ha!

By the way, I am completely, utterly, hopelessly obsessed with Boardwalk Empire. That palette! I am constantly pausing episodes to jot down notes on color and juxtapositions of texture. I just want to jump into the scenes and touch the tweeds and silks and satins and scratchy wools. I would also like to seduce Richard Harrow, but that’s another story.
