We will ignore, of course, the fact that the HR betty’s email was set in COMIC SANS, and send a reply as soon as possible. She wants to see samples of his work, and wants to know salary/bonus requirements.
I am totally opposed to divulging $ expectations so early in the process. They should be eliminating candidates based on their qualifications FIRST, then worry about the money afterwards. For this reason, TA is going to be deliberately cagey.
Pretty cool. Except for the Comic Sans part. I mean, who didn't get the memo on Comic Sans? In 2011? I have half a mind to send her a copy of Just My Type which devotes an entire chapter to that terrible font so she makes better choices in the future.
